Bsa R10 Mk2 Vc

Recommended Posts

Hi

I have one and its very good .The newer R10 with 12 at the end of the serial no has the new reg in it which is a great improvement on the Mk1 and Mk2.

Have not taken it in the field yet as i am just setting the gun up and putting different pellets down. So far AA 8.44gr and jsb 8.44 are good for a light pellet and for a heavy pellet jsb 10.3 gr which is probably the best pellet for the R10. The big surprise is the new defiant hft 8.5 gr are hitting a 1" higher than the AAs or jsb and pellet are with in a 5p out to about 45 yards and 20mm out to 60 yards. The BC worked out to 0.0287 from 35 yard to 55 yard .

I will be doing a bit more testing with these pellets this week in doors of a old block built chicken shed which is 80 m long

Got one as well in FAC. Absolutely great in the field, had a S410 before and this is in a different class. I changed the silencer on mine to a weihrauch ans it's even quiter. It's much more manageable as well than the S410.

Hi Darryl

Did you try any of the hft pellets in your R10 ? If so what was the out come.

I Tried them again through mine and with a super clean barrel and pellet re wash and lube and they are showing some very good results

No mate, someone offered me good money for the R10 so sold it......

Still not got round to putting them back through the HW100 single shot mag yet..... Gary has it now so its something else to add to the "to do" list.....
