Aye it was something different..

Some dogs put a few bends in at the end but some where just straight line less exciting jobs.. But most of the crowd looked down at there programmes at first turn they were just intrested in the run up and the out come.. Lot of money envolved.. I would go again but would much rather watch some open coursing..

Was Good trip Flew over and hired a car. Seen some nice bits of Ireland had a day in dublin.. Supped some guiness lol

At a guess to stop the hare getting wacked and they can run them all season ? But I don't know for sure ..

A few years ago to shut the anti's up it was agreed to muzzle greyhounds for park coursing in Ireland. Something I was against at the time and it didn't shut the anti's up as they're still flat out trying to get it banned.

Greyhounds are left un-muzzled for open coursing. Although there was a rumour going around last year that they were thinking of muzzling them for open coursing, I hope that's un-true.

The hares caught for park coursing are only ever coursed once and that's it. They're then released back into the wild under the supervision of a wildlife ranger.
