Kay 3,709
Last night my lad took a pasting off some older lads , he arrived back here at 8pm a little subdued then i noticed he had a black eye, anyway he at that point burst into tears & i went to give him a love & he pushed me away & wanted his dad i dont understand why he didnt want a love off me any ideas, its never happened before , he isnt a mammys boy but is normally quite cool about showing affection to his mom in the house obvioulsy , not in front of his mates I feel a bit hurt he wouldnt let me help him, he is nearly
Simoman 110
Probably just embaressed, I wouldn't worry
Groverdog 0
Although i dont have kids i see a fair few scraps at the bar where i work and quite often if a lad has got a pasting he will push his girlfriend away if she trys to help/comfort him. Presume it has something to do like Simoman says being embaressed at losing a scrap. (still living in an age where men are supposed to be tough?) What pr*cks those older lads are. Hope your lad is OK.
Kay 3,709
Oh he is fine thanks , 6 of one & half a dozon of another situation, my lad was lippy so got a thump basically, he wasnt beaten to a pulp & his dad did find the lads who said he gave as good as he got , so i think yourr ight its a bruised eye & ego He should not be lippy is the lesson he has learned i think
jasper65 6
My boy has been the same the last month or so, he started getting a hard time from a lad at his school and Handbags was drawn between the two of them! my lad came worst off but what wound me up is the lad who started it pushed my 8 year old daughter over to provoke a reaction from Ryan my boy , anyway things seemed ok for a while until last week when another lad took a crack at him! Ryan took a smack in the eye but the good thing this time is he punched the boy back and strangled him to the stage of him having a Asthma attack on the floor , now I know I should gloat about it but I'm pretty glad as the lad will never try that one again. The school did f**k all and pretty much blamed my boy! its a long story and plenty of Rows with the head master so I won't go into it, but ever since all this hassle he isn't the same boy! no confidence, not interested in nothing exept his x - box and like you said will not except any effection what so ever, infact he was pretty pissed off I went up the school as he reckons I made things worse for him , you can't win sometimes... Cheers Jasper

I wonder where he gets that from Maybe its a good lesson learnt in the long run and be assured next time he wants something mum will no doubt be first in line for that cuddle. best wished OLC
