Froudy 40
Hi lads I am thinking of making some rat bait boxes out of some wood I've got for a farm i do, i normally buy plastic or metal ones, has anyone got any pictures off their home made ones, I've got a good idea already but thought I would see if I could see any before I start just in case they are a better design Atb Froudy Quote Link to post
moxy 617
I wouldn't waste my time messing about with timber. 3-4" poly pipe works fine and you can buy caps to drill out a smaller hole if needed and glue on. Quote Link to post
Froudy 40
Yeah that's a good idea mate Quote Link to post
Matt 160
I've got an old MAFF one here somewhere, I'll dig it out and get some pictures tommoz if I have time. Various trails have found that you can get much quicker bait take from wooden boxes. Quote Link to post

paulp32 1
Hi, I made these a few months ago the taller ones are run throughs and the smaller are for bait, all take the fenn 4 set behind and between baffles for clean kill with the wire front and back. I kept to three sides so that the rodent had natural flooring, the baffles strengthen the structure. Quote Link to post
