air gun ant 1,666
How's it work? Who do you pay? The sender or recipient? Or both? Or does it vary? Thanks in advance Ant Quote Link to post
walshie 2,804
Both. You have to pay the sender the postage and the receiving RFD for his time. If it's an airgun, I don't imagine it would be much as he has no paperwork to fill in. Quote Link to post
AirgunGuy 362
Never done it but i would imagine that the sender will pay his RFD at his end and the recipient will pay his RFD at his end for receiving it Quote Link to post
air gun ant 1,666
No it's a shotgun bud, I got a silver pigeon from Avalon a couple of years ago and picked it up at my local RFD and never got asked for any money? (I might of been really exited and run out the shop to play with my new to tho??????) Quote Link to post
air gun ant 1,666
New toy sorry won't let me edit Quote Link to post
walshie 2,804
That's unusual, because the receiving RFD has to fill in your paperwork and send his paperwork off to the Firearms team, and they normally charge you £20-£30 for the privilege. Quote Link to post
air gun ant 1,666
Yeah did the paper work ect? and just asked the better half and she paid the RFD (probably while I was looking at guns lol) Cheers Ant Quote Link to post
