Pick Up Whats Best

Recommended Posts

I ran a 08 l200 it never let me down apart from a snapped half shaft. This was my fault very big tyres and a lot of abuse. In -15 temperature's. Mpg wise motorways at the speed limit would give you 33.5 mpg. I picked a range rover up from Essex with a trailer and the round trip ended up 27.1 mpg. I done 140.000 miles in three year and it did need a new clutch. It did tow a 18 ft triple axle trailer 6 days a week with 2.5 to 3 ton on it's back and shunting this around would take it's toll on any clutch. Off road wise it was decent by any standards. They will take the biggest of wheels without any mods. Unlike the others available. Getting one with a rear diff lock is a bonus. Unlike the ranger they will run on the road in four wheel drive easily. I have drove the ford Nissan and mitsubishi and I thought the l200 was the most car like of all of them. Just my opinion.
