:clapper: Some great shots of an endearing little bird there, JD :good:

Got me wondering; If anyone else here ever met that nutter of a bird they had down at BirdWorld, in Farnham, about thirty five years ago now? Crazy as a box of frogs, that one. He was in the 'Sea Shore' sort of walk around enclosure they had there and spent his time marching up and down a wall.

Go up to his wall and put ye fist down and he'd come up and start hammering away at ye hand most determindly! Looking back now, I wonder if one of the members of staff there fed him by hand and taught him that he had to 'knock' first to gain entry to their closed hand and thus gain some tit bit?

Never forgotten that little bird. Most endearing little character :)
