iana 25
Just a question to ask. When I first got my ferrets (2 Jill's ) I would chuck a carcass in and they would both tuck in. Then I started to give them lambs hearts and used to chop it up for them. Now whatever I put in pigeon/ rabbit/ liver they won't eat it unless its chopped up!! They will sit there and wait for me to chop it up into pieces. Am I being too soft on them? Quote Link to post

huntingladjohn 14
when i give mine meat from butcher i cut it up only because if its in one big piece they will battle over it lol but with game i stick the whole thing in and let them do there thing Quote Link to post
happyferret123 13
Mine are fussy buggers in that unless I open it right up for them and take some of the fur off so some of the meat is showing they wont touch it. Perhaps it's because there is only two of them. I think I had a big group there would be more competition and they would be more likely to tuck in. Quote Link to post
