Best range to zero .243?

Hi, i was just wondering what you lot find is the best range to zero a .243 at?

Will be using 100 grain rounds.

Some like inch or so high at 100, but personally I prefer bang on at 100m. Depends what your main use will be though and what average distances you are looking at.

Inch high at 100yds for me mate, have a play around at various ranges, after your initial zero,say out to 250,this will give you the best idea of what,if any holdover you require.

Always zero at a base point of 100 yards, i dial in all ranges for hunting after ranging keeps me bang on target,

 

however if you dont have a range finder i'd say 200 yards.

Same reason I always use 100. Adjusting takes out the guesswork and all adjustments are one way. It does depend on use though and reds on the open hill, I accept you can get away with a longer zero range.
