Aye they made them they were out for a short while them Debens released the mk3 shows they didn't have faith in it . Think the big differnce is the mk2 has thirty hours of battery life and the mk3 three hundred hours

The grey one. I thought that was the mk1, and always understood the mk2 to be an orange one, but like I say, inside on the components where you change the battery, it has a mk2 print, which really threw me. Will take a pic now bud.

I tell a lie. It actually says mk3! God knows why...

 

Also, can anyone tell me the difference between these two collars? They use different batteries, that is all I know...

What robaly happend is the depth sticker wor away and was replaced with a new sticker that just had mk3 printed on it

bunny boiler looks to me like you have a 8ft and a 15ft collar there mate 15ft has 2 batteries for a stronger signal. the mark 1 box the grey rectangle was manufactured for a good few years and some of the parts inside where changed from time to time but as for finders the rectangles are mark 1s and the carrots are either mk2s or mk3s mk2 was very quickly replaced with the mk3 coz of a few problems with it and its really pooor battery life was one of the worst

what you have is a mk1 mate there where eleven different models made with slight improvements before they went on to the mk2 according to what i read in the sporting press

yep the mk1 is a square grey box, and those collars 1 is an 8ft and the other is a 15ft if the mk1 is only 8ft obviously the 15ft collar will only work to 8ft, but iv seen a mk 2, its the same shape as the mk3 but no where near as good as the mk1 or mk3.

The main problem with the MK2 was the interference blocker, it would only accept a signal from one collar and would block the others out if you had more than 1 ferret to ground.
