shadow_sniper 47
Hi guys need some help my bsa ultra is playing up. I have been to my permission today and my rifle seemed to have no power. I took it back to my rfd and he tested it for leaks there where no apparent ones. He chronoed it and it was shooting at 11.5 ft/lb. Any other ideas what it maybe? Regards nick Quote Link to post

shadow_sniper 47
The rifle seemed to be shooting without force the rfd said there was plenty of air... The action just seemed really weak.. Nick Quote Link to post

Tron 173
Bit of a puzzle there Bud, Its possible that the 0 ring on the pellet probe has gone, the Ultra will still fire pretty good with light pellets which perhaps your RFD used to Chro it. But if your using heavy types then the power loss becomes more noticable. If you have the older type Ultra make sure you arent pulling it back with your hand against the cocking knob when firing. Again that will stop the gun firing with full efficency. Check the pellet probe 0 ring first. Quote Link to post

Mawders 595
Did you have very little air in the rifle? What bar was it charged to when you noticed lack of power and also what made you think it had lack of power? Quote Link to post
shadow_sniper 47
I have it charged to 200 bar. I dont know what bar it was at as there is no indicator on my rifle. It was the sound of the rifle and the sound of the pellet hitting the object that made me feel it was suffering with lack of power. Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
But you say it is 11.5 ft lb, regardless of amount of air left, if it was 11.5 , its 11.5 ? Lol if u want louder noise, remove silencer an fit a 22 barrel lol Quote Link to post
