obi2 241
not trying to be cheeky....but if you are feeding your dog right, running the dog it should be fit and muscled up...some dogs might not show muscle like other dogs, but the main thing it should be fit and healthy 13 mnth old mate. Got her oft pal who has to many work commitments now so iv took her on. Hasn't dine anything with him so I'm getting her fittend but just looking at what guys do to power them up a bit as she a bit on the light side. robwelsh 354
Try feeding it twice a day instead of once, its still relatively yound mate. I fed my bitch loads of high quality grub throughout the day. Quote Link to post
jamesmc 582
i would just take it easy mate, get the dog fit by bonding with her out walking, running, chasing a ball,on the bike etc...get her used to you,get her fit and it will all fall into place mate Quote Link to post
Millet 4,497
Try feeding it twice a day instead of once, its still relatively yound mate. I fed my bitch loads of high quality grub throughout the day. I stopped feeding my pup twice per day when she hit a year old..after that she seemed to be slowly loosing weight and condition..i went back too two feed's a day big meal on the night and a smaller one on the morning and after several week's she put a bit of weight and muscle back on.. robwelsh 354
When mine was a pup it got fed five times a day, then slowly off each meal like. Some dogs need to kept on multiple meals longer. I kept mine on two meals for a long time. But not everyone's the same. Now and again I do fit two meals in, depending what's been going on lol she is a pretty big bitch ,so smaller type maybe not need it as much. But there we are Quote Link to post
