reynardhunter 3
Go on then lets see you pick one up They are beautiful creatures but I don't think they should be caged up unless they were definitely orphaned or injured or something. Each to their own though. there you go gnipper .you have to let them come to you .takes a long time to get them this tame Amazing pics Fish, never thought i,d see that
higgins 75
I wouldn't want to set up a trap to be honest, i would most likely catch an adult. If i get an orphaned one i can release it back into the wild if things don't go to plan, so then in affect i have saved a weasel ratreeper, you will have a job trying to catch one, first they are like quicksilver when loose, secondly they will bite hard,i should know, had a tame stoat once,it was 'tame for a while sort of thing',i could pick it up like fish says it takes a while to get them that tame, but when he escaped his cage i ended up chasing it all over the estate where i lived and had to wear thick gloves because it had reverted back to it's wild state and would attack me ferociously, same with a weasel when chased they will attack, when i got bit of my pet stoat the pain was so severe i could still feel it a few weeks later, yet i have been bitten by many ferrets and that pain didn't last long,i tried crossing him with ferrets but they went for each other,if any socialising with ferrets is to be achieved it would have to be reared from a few days old and suckled on the jill i think,i have some pics of mine from the 70's in storage that need digitising before i can put them up here,if i get round to it i will put them up,good luck anyway, Higgins.
