JD3696 0
How do, ladies and gents (and moderators - you guys are cyborgs, right? ;-) ), Never been on a hunting forum before, so not really sure what sort of introduction to post! I've been around many a rifle and shottie in my time, always gone shooting with my old man, now I'm in my 20's it's about time I got my own license sorted... so here seemed like a good place to come for some useful info. First of all, I'm not expecting to spend a big percentage of my shooting time on hunting, my interest lies more in small bore target shooting. I do enjoy the odd hunt as well, but I like the idea of popping to the local club with my buddy after work of an evening and getting my gun off, as opposed to having something organised for a weekend away etc... I'd like to get some rabbiting organised in Yorkshire somewhere if anyone has any ideas? I still need to apply for my license, and rabbiting would provide ample justification for PC-Plod when he asks why I might want a gun, I don't mind commercial shooting, or just an arrangement with a land owner, either way is good for me. That's about it on the hunting side of my interests, I'm a mechanic, I love motorcycles... that's about the size of it! Take it easy folks. Joel
