"The reality in 2012 is we have won two league games at Anfield and, on top of that, it is over a year since there has been back-to-back Premier League" (home) wins (September 24 against Wolves was the exact date)

Rodgers got the Anfield job off the back of a playing style that was being played in Swansea long before he arrived there.. Time will tell whether he gets found out or if he can take that style and apply it to another team and be successful with it.. It took years for Swansea to get where they are with it, it started under Martinez and Da Sousa, and I don't think Rodgers will get more than a season or two.. Much as I dislike Liverpool, I don't like the way a big club like them with their history and fan base has been pushed out of the elite by clubs like Chelsea and City along with Arsenal..

Your right Rodgers was fortunate that when he took the Swansea job the Foundations has been laid by managers before him , where as at Liverpool he is having to Create That System , wasn't he sacked by Reading a couple off yrs ago ? Though Liverpool can't just keep sacking managers and expecting success , Ironic about West Brom , Roy Hodgson and now Steve Clarke have worked wonders on a limited budget 2 people Liverpool have Sacked , Hodgson was never given a fair do by the fans at Liverpool and they Wished him sacked . . . . As the old saying goes "Be Carefully What You Wish For" Definetly applies here !
