Bsa ultra tuning

Can anyone do this for me or would i be able to do it myself. Ive tuned chinese rifles so i have basic knowledge cheers rob

You dont say what kind of tuning you want? The Ultra is a extremely easy rifle to tune, but if its for FAC levels no one would tell you.

An ultra would be abit pointless as a fac gun, think he might mean sub tuning

_{I did ask what kind of tuning he was asking about. As for a Ultra being pointless on FAC, tuned one for a mate (smoothed out the airflow) and TLCeed the moving parts and it was doing over 16.FPE in .177. had to fit a weaker hammer spring to get it down, certainly was impressive out to 35 yards.}

it wasnt a dig lol what i ment was that if he wanted a fac purpose gun there others out there much better suited. i just think hes a tinkerer, although nothing on a open forum will be mentioned about any type of tuning i would of thought lol

Your best bet would to go on You Tube and trawl for BSA Ultra tuning, Theres usually lots of stuff shown how to do improve the performance of different airguns. Good luck.

Ive looked cant find sweet fa ive just spoke to john bowkett he lives 5 mins drive from me so i think im gonna let him blueprint it whats are peoples views on this.

Their are a few who do them XTX AIR, rancidtom ,Tench, phil 8282 , airguntune (mike upton) and of course John Bowket .

IMHO the best thing you can do to a ultra is to have a reg fitted. Had mine done 4-5 fps spreed over 55 shots using daystate heavies 10.3gr.

Cant moan at that but i spoke to john just on the phone and what he does for the money is great cheaper then a tench reg. plus it gets serviced im also having it re blued and hes 5 mins from my house.
