cramp 4 Posted June 29, 2007 Report Share Posted June 29, 2007 (edited) I HAVE JUST LOST 2 LITTERS OF YOUNG PLUS THE JILLS THEY ARE CLEANED EVERY OTHER DAY FED FRESH FLESH BUT THEY ARE DROPING LIKE FLYS AND SO ARE MY MATES I HAVE JUST BURNED ON COOP AND FULLY SPRYED THE OTHER TWO WITH STUFF I BORROWED OF MAFF WHEN I WAS ON THE FOOT AND MOUTH SO IT IS GOOD STUFF I HAVE JUST TAKEN A KITT FOR A PM HAVE ANYONE ELSE SUFFERD THE SAME PROBLEM IAM GETTING PISSED OFF SOMONE SAID ABOUT FELINE ENTURITS CAN THIS BE TRUE Edited June 29, 2007 by cramp Quote Link to post

martin 332 Posted June 29, 2007 Report Share Posted June 29, 2007 It could be the stuff you got from MAFF.Some chemicals that are very good at killing germs,also kill other living things!If I were you the first thing I would do is contact MAFF,and ask them if there might be a problem using it for ferrets.................Good luck.................Martin. I have a friend who has a simmilar problem last year who also had several PM's done on ferrets, fingers crossed you dont loose anymore Quote Link to post
Garn 0 Posted June 30, 2007 Report Share Posted June 30, 2007 You said you fed them flesh. It maybe that it had gone off and they were inadvertantly poisoned. Try dried kitten food. Ferrets and cats have the same type of digestive system, and a kits bite is plenty powerful enough to chomp through the biscuits. Plus the fact its cheaper and less hassle to get and equally as good for your ferrets! Quote Link to post
