Mullet15 3 Posted November 11, 2012 Report Share Posted November 11, 2012 Been out to look at a new dog today. This dog stands 21 tts. Hasn't done alot. But was just what I was after. I got home about 5:30-6, and thought I'd take dog for a quick walk as it had been in car for a whole. Grabbed lamp out of cupboard just in case anything was about. Got to about the 3rd field and with a quick flash with the lamp there was a rabbit sat out in the field, got to about 35-40 yards and it bolted, slipped the dog, cracking run, rabbit just reached the cover, but the dog didn't stop, and out of the hedge it came with rabbit in mouth. Returned it straight back and was ready to go again. Had a walk through a couple more fields but there was nothing about. Not the best night as there was no wind but only went out to stretch legs. But I can't argue with 1 run 1 kill. I'm looking forward to getting out on a better night later in the week. Quote Link to post
