at what age do dogs mature

as above, just a question, asking what age other peoples dogs took to mature, i guess it depends on size,breeds etc! my bitch is 2 now, she is doing ok but can still be very bouncy around other dogs,

would be good to hear peoples thoughts,

ive never known a lurcher to fully mature. they still have dippy puppy moments straight threw there lives

Mine the same age as yours obviously and is calm ish around other dogs, daft and bouncy around people though. Still sometimes pisses like a bitch sometimes.

mature in a work sense though.

My dh x is only 16months and is much calmer around other people and dogs and doing OK for his x and age work wise but I doubt he will be fully mature till over 2 years I imagine. My dhx still pisses like a bitch all the time though lol

 

But they will all be different, and some aspects will mature quicker and others slower

jess is doing well, just sometimes she acts like a pup, my poor terrier gets thrown all over when jess is in her daft mood.. lol
