hi all went out sunday with my 2 jrt x laky pups my jrt dog and jrt x laky dog we set out just to do a bit of bushing and ratting we was out about 20 mins. when my 2 older terriers went to ground we fort it was just rabbits but after 10 mins or so my laky russel was baying like mad and he's never bayed at a rabbit befor lookle i got the jrt out but the laky russel was to deep to get to. so we called him but 20 mins later no dog so i went to a farm shop to get a spade when i got back he was going mad. we work out where he was and started digging he was only about 1ft down but 2m from where he went in we got the dog out and let the fox go . i have never been digging befor and the dog has never been dug to so was very happy with him

you may start carrying a spade with you and make sure you get a locator and collar ,

i would of dispatched the fox but we was not ment to be digging foxes on the land we was on so i wanted to be off
