The wife is stuck for a birthday present for Me. I have suggested an air rifle as a few of my mates get out and about with them and I have been invited along a few times. My local gun shop stocks a good selection of second hand rifles with scopes from £150 upwards. Done want to go mad budget wise so just looking for an honest gun I can use with confidence for rabbits, wood pigeon and the odd game bird should it cross My path.

So what should I be looking out for? any advise welcome

Cheers lads

Thanks for the input, and that rifle does look fantastic. As this is going to be My frist attempt at getting out with an air rifle I wasnt looking to spend that much and would be happier with a second hand gun, That if I get into it I can then upgrade from. Just wondered what else anyone would recommend and uses thereself

Cheers

we also need more of a ball park figer here. for instance i spent just under 400 for my mark 3 daystate and thats secondhand. what your better off doing is going down your local gun shop and handel every air rifle they have. when you find the perfect one that just feels right start another thread on here saying what rifle you held and so on. some begger on here will know where to find one
