ferret15 0
i think if your going to buy from a fair take care its a risk yes you can pick up a nice horse at a snip of the price but its very easy to dope a horse to make it seem calmer than it is and to give bute etc to hide lameness if your not bothered about the chance that your hard earned money might get swallowed in vets bills or can afford it then take a chance ! i know people who make a living buying at fairs and selling once they have brought the horse on but they have years of experince and even they get stung sometimes

lucky 578
i don't think you can buy much of a horse at appleby now a days with 3 grand, some horses were in the region of 75, 60 and plenty of 30 grand horses, horse prices have gone through the roof in the last few year, similar to whats happening with houses .
