GEOFF.223 83 Posted November 3, 2012 Report Share Posted November 3, 2012 some people like using the turrets to adjust for bullet drop and wind adjustment. and some like to use a bullet drop compensator reticle like a mildot reticle /dots on the cross hairs each dot must be calibrated/zerod at appropriate range. 1 Quote Link to post
halamrose 24 Posted November 6, 2012 Report Share Posted November 6, 2012 (edited) I think if your target shooting at a range you have all the time in the world to dial in on the turrets. In live quarry hunting all you might want to touch is parallax. Just zero at 100yds and account for drop by holdover. Windage is just too variable to be worth twiddling, hold to one side but only once you have the experience to know how much. Felt I had to answer as a reward for creating such an enjoyable debate.
