Gaz_1989 9,539
I feed similar but I mix my mince beef/tripe with boiled rice and multi vit powder. I get a massive bag of rice from Aldi and boil a bit up each night. (Or a few mins in the microwave) I sometimes add a bit of veg to the rice like a carrot or a bit if cauliflower. Where do you get the multi vitamin powder from? And do you feed a spoon of that daily? I would ideally like to come away from the complete but don't have time to sort vegetables everyday. Cheers Gaz Get to Iceland and buy frozen veg - most of it is £1 per kg or so. Then just use some each day as needed.............maybe give the sweetcorn a miss though - comes out the same as it goes in unless you put it through a blender first Cheers. Not a bad idea that. Tiny 7 1,694
Rice or pasta can be cooked and in baches and stuck in the fridge in an icecream tub do 2/3 days at a time, Veg well just use what you got or likes been said frozen stuff and use a small handful at a time, apples i grab LOADS of the trees and freeze them down most i do blend/puree down in tubs so there always there same as all the herbs and veg that will die/rot in the winter, And dry mix i do use it as well people use alsort and some suit some dogs others dont find something that suits and stick with it iv mixed it with raw and cooked meat for yrs and NEVER had a problem, I also like too add beef suet/cooking ouil in the season as it just tops up the fat in there meals also, Eggs are also a great bit of grub for the dogs aswell as cheap sparts and macrele out of the super market (Wished i lived close too the seas cause its all there lol for free) , If like alot you anit got time too do it all fellah, Which really only takes more than 10mins a day when you get in too the routen, Think ahead fellah and get 2/3 days infront with your feeding and it should go smoothly from there if you keep on top of it, Iv even got a tea urnes (The ones you get in cafes ect ) And can do the dogs a 2/3 day scran out of that in one sitting, Ya its been cooked and they say it loses loads of vits/min when cooked but used that from yrs also its like a thick broth with all the above in it poured/soaked over a bit of dry and dogs have always done alright on that as well, Its is hard as you make it fellah....
