MuddyPaws! 27 Posted September 9, 2012 Report Share Posted September 9, 2012 I'm a part 2 scaffolder. On the course we did learn about manual handling but was never gives any cents for it.. I don't think it says it on the actual part 2 certificate I got.. Although it should be a piece of piss mate just lifting with your legs not your back that sort of stuff. But another piece of paper to stop folk claiming against companies etc When lifting, I find it best to take your legs completely out of the equation...lift with the back, in a twisting jurking motion, cant go wrong!
