I bought one of these the other day completely out of the blue, I had sold a gun through a local gunshop and was in collecting the funds when i spied this gun. Its a second hand synthetic stock model and ive never owned a semi before or even shot one but thought i would give it a go completely on a whim.

 

Why oh why did i not buy a semi years ago?????? its brilliant fits like a glove handles superbly and the recoil is very light perfect for ferreted rabbit shooting (Cartridge to rabbit ratio not too shabby). Put about 200 carts of all sizes and weights through it in the past week without a hiccup. Cleaning is a bit more involved but generally its not a problem.Im doing a goose flight next weekend and the down side is it will only take 3" carts but i will give it a go.

 

Franchi seems to be at the cheaper end of the market and i only paid £300 for it but so far im very impressed i can see our relationship being a close one over the years.

i use to have an old al48 model, brilliant gun even though it worked off recoil through a great big spring not like the posh one youve got
