will 2 hobs fight over 2 jills ???

hi all , i got 2 new hobs 12 weeks old and there in there own cage atm but i was thinking of putting both of them in with my two jills , question is will they be ok or will they fight ??? there is an easy way to find out i know but dont want to take the chance ! also how old will they be when there sexually active as i dont want loads of babys running about ???

Short answer - probably.. I had two hobs from kits in a court alongside four Jill's. Once they started to mature, I had to rehome one because he was on at the other hob non stop. You should be ok over the winter, but keep an eye on them because they'll all start comming into season once the days start getting longer at the end of the winter. You'll need to separate them then and maybe think about getting the Jill's taken out of season because they'll stay in all summer long.. :thumbs:

thanks for the advise chaps , iv recently lost my hob that iv had for about 3 years he was vasectomised and looked after my two and another 4 jills on the estate much to his disgust :angel: . im giving one of the new silver hobs to my nephew soon so i will only have 1 by the spring anyway , just need to sit back and wait for that special time of the year :boogy: .
