Ferret mad Dave 65 Posted August 27, 2012 Report Share Posted August 27, 2012 I have just Got in today and had the ferrets out and one of them seem too have a biggish lump all most like a blood blister in his ear it's soft too touch and doesn't seem too bother him when you touch it I have never seem this before can anyone shed some light on it please ? CityHunter.uK 12 Posted August 27, 2012 Report Share Posted August 27, 2012 If it is smear the bugger with vasaline so that it has to release its head to breath then pull it with a pair of tweezers near the ear as you can so you dont pull its head off and leave it in the ear to fester Quote Link to post

Ferret mad Dave 65 Posted August 29, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 29, 2012 AN UPDATED Just had the boy too the vets turns out he has an ear hematoma which is commen in dogs and cats it was drained and had a steroid injection in it hopefully touch wood that should sort it if not he has too go in for an operation too release the pressure on the ear forgot too get a pick before he had it drained but got one after he had it drained which I will put up tonight Quote Link to post
