Hi guys.

 

I have lurked on the forum for a long time but haven't ever really felt that i had anything meaningful to contribute but i thought now might be a good time to start.

 

I just wanted to say how impressed I am with the service at Ronnie Sunshines in Berko. Popped in today to ask some questions on air rifles as im a complete noob and Neil could not have been more helpful. Some specialist shops you go to (tackle shops, cycling shops etc) can treat you like an idiot if you clearly don't know your arse from your elbow but Neil was really helpful, explained about the different rifles and packages and even let me try as many as i like including ones out of my price range so I could get a feel of what you get for what outlay, even though I was clearly not looking to buy today.

 

All this has made me much more likely to buy from RS instead of try in there then go second hand just to save £50. Top stuff.

aye, tackle shops are really miserable.. just want you in and out as fast as they can get your money off you lol

Excellent. Good to hear of a shop and the guy behind the counter that treats you with respect and courtesy. We all had to start somewhere at some point with everything in our lives and without real know-how to begin with. At least Gaz you now have somewhere to go for your rifle and kit with confidence in the guy at the shop!

 

I would refuse to do business with anyone who treated me, or anyone like a fool just because I wasn't so clued-in at first.
