A Green Cheeked Conure to be precise, I used to have a pair, there are a few colonys now living wild in the UK, although green cheeks aren,t as well established as the Indian Ring Neck parakeet which is now considered as a pest species :thumbs:

where do they come from mate.could have escaped do you think :thumbs:

a load was said to have escaped from waverly in surrey many years ago i think it was, plenty near staines and feltham area middlesex there are literaly hundreds of them and spreading across west london noisy feckers is an understatement sure i saw something couple years ago about bringing them under a licence for farming pest control not sure exact details but they are very common anyways

check out any london park, they were warned years ago, but now they dominate those landscapes, they move like a perigrin folcon, and then just disapeer after a thin bumerangle wing flick.. dammed noisey too.

 

parakeets, ahhh dont they look pritty..ffffff
