Thinking about buying a tripod , just wonderd how many use them and what your thought , cant believe how much some of them cost for three sticks of ally to put your camera on

Yeah they can be a queer old price, my mate has one £500+ but he uses a 600mm lense, Ive never owned one, but did borrow one last year when I was using a 400mm lense (bloody heavy lense, ten and a half pound)

I forgot I had this till a few months back Found it under the bed with an old VHS video camera

Originally got it from one of those reward type cards Texaco or something like.

I think the value worked out to be about £50 and (for what little I know about it) it seems well made, robust and pretty good.

Haven't had much chance to use it with the new cam though

manfrotto, do a good tri pod, beware of cheaper ones as they tend to hav a bit of play in them,
