downsouth 8,354
1 on the tail for when they are on a branchas they give their tail a little shake every now and then and 1 on the leg for when they are on a kill as there is usually a fair pulling with the legs and they can sometimes sit back on their tail rendering the tail bell useless. Millet 4,497
I use a tail guard so it has to be tail mounted..the bird has caught his tail mounted telemetry before today when going through a fence but it never pulled the deck feather's out..but he has pulled his own out 2yr's back when i freelofted him for a week with his tail mount on.
