Books 14
Hi all. I was wondering if its possible to buy a springer from SFS that is already tuned up? The information on the website gives very little away and I am after either a BSA Lightning, or a HW 95. I live some distance away from the shop so can't really get there and any info is appreciated. Many thanks. Quote Link to post
Tron 173
Yes Mate, Tony Wall the guy to talk to does some excellent conversions on the HW range of rifles, There are quite a few members on here who have such rifles, give him a bell on--0121 520 2000. I have seen his work and its first class. PS, go for the 95K, super rifle with the world famous Rekord trigger. you wont regret it. Edited August 15, 2012 by Tron Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
Yep he sure does! I gave him a ring and ordered my 95K with a stage 1 tune and hawk panorama scope. It takes about 3 weeks for him to tune as he is stacked with tune up jobs at present but well worth the wait my friend! I would buy all my rifles from him, quality service, plus he zeros the scope on the range to see how it groups. ATB Mawders Quote Link to post
Books 14
Oh that's good then. One more thing, I live a fair distance away so would I physically have to go to the shop to collect, or is there some other way I could have it sent through. I know by current rules you have to collect in person from a certified firearms holder, but don't know if Sandwell offer a postage service to one nearby. Its a bit finniky (spelling) because if you buy an airgun over the phone, you either have to collect it or have it sent to a registered firearms holder and then collect it from them. Afterwards however, you can send it anywhere and recieve it back via post. Many thanks. Quote Link to post
Tron 173
The best way for you is to get one of the long time posters on here who live pretty local to Sanwell Sporting Supplies to collect it boxed up and post it to you direct, I live too far away otherwise I could have done that. Ask on the forum for someone who is willing to do so, REMBER MAKE SURE ITS someone who is A local, and B is Known to Tony Wall. Good luck. Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
Tony at SFS is more than happy to post it to a local firearms dealer to you for a small fee, think its 15 quid. Look the best thing to do really is ring him isn't it and ask him these questions. He will give you the low down! Quote Link to post
Tron 173
Yep its about £17.00 for next day delivery to a RFD then the RFD sticks £20. to £25 quid on top just to hand it over!. The cheapest way is the way I suggested, Quote Link to post
Books 14
Yeah I agree Mawders, I was just asking first because I am a little green when it comes to this sort of thing, and didn't want to phone Tony and waste his time with foolish questions. You have to remember that I was unaware that airguns can be altered or tuned until a couple of days ago and only after seeing the video's on youtube by Si. It was on these video's that I even found out about this forum! I honestly didn't have any idea about this sort of thing, and its a sort of WOW factor for me just by watching the vids. But I will place a call to Tony today right enough so thanks all for the info. Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
Good man, hear it from the horses mouth rather than everyone chipping in on here. Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
The man is a tuning legend. He posts and provides the best customer service and after care anywhere I have ever seen or used. His workmanship is second to none and his knowledge of his trade is vast and beyond comparison. You will not go wrong with getting you rifle tuned by Tony Wall. Si. Quote Link to post

Books 14
Nice one Buster but probably not on the cards as I live so far away. But if I do I will send you a pm. Didn't get a chance to phone the shop today but will ring them tomorrow. Quote Link to post
