outside living pup?

my pup whined for about a week when i first put him outside. Like they said earlier, don't go out to him cos he'll expect it then. It is hard, my neighbour's where going mental but it's worth it in the end. I put an old jumper, a clock and a radio in to keep him company. Dunno if it helped or if he got pi**ed of with radio 2 and thats why he whined....

but will he be ok by hiself in the run , it wont make him permantly unhappy ?

If your giving him plenty off interaction with you then he'll probably be okay but you can't beat company for a dog
