it could be all inocent, they were probly only taking the dogs for a walk, and things got out of hand as some times they do, but its just a shame they only make public the ones to make us look bad.

I have seen this all too many times where I live. People dont understand how drivey their lurchers/greys are and think allowing them to hunt or run free in a public place is acceptable. Its not. Its a terrible thing to see, a small dog ripped apart by other dogs. I dont mind catching rabbits etc, I see them as vermin, but pet dogs are a no no IMO. It also gives the breed a terrible reputation, same as staffords really. I take all mine to industrial areas where you can only get access by car, so I can see if anyone is around. If I go out in public they are on extenders just incase. Poor wee dog, poor wee lady and poor hunting dogs who get yet another bad rep :( I know lots of people terrified of greyhounds. Its not fair and its the odd few owners who get them this name. Shame really as they are great dogs.

Where they lurcher's ... :hmm: .. or where they racing greyhound's let of the lead for a quick sprint..

The reason im wondering this is ive seen greyhound's let of on a beach i go on numerous occasions.. and my brother had to go help a lady once who was holding her little terrier above her head while 4 greyhound's where jumping up trying to pull it from her arm's.. :( ..

This could be true.

As, not too far from me, their is a beach and some greyhounds a while back, were being excerised on their.

They wont ment to be off the lead, their owners were away and the sons were looking after them.

A women was walking her yorkie and the rest, well, ill leave it to your imaginations. :icon_eek:
