Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
Eyup guys ... here's a rather boring 9 minute video of me shooting my hw97kt synthetic .177 with AGS 3-9x40 at 35 yards doing a 10 shot grouping using jsb exact 4.52mm ..... live for the camera of my s2 mobile lol my excuses are.. it was upto 10mph inconsistent wind - i havent shot for 3 weeks so im out of practice - im not the best shot either lol - the rifle has just been serviced re lubed etc and the barrel cleaned so it is still re leading and the grease is still being worked in so it isnt settled down yet - the pellet might not be the best suited to this rifles barrel - i could keep going on making excuses but im just going to tell the truth..mainly.. im not the best shot!! lol 2 of the stray pellets were definately my fault wobbling rushing for the camera, under pressure haha! so if you have 10 mins spare and your bored have a watch.. or skip to 7 mins and see the last shot, the laser to the target and the grouping. enjoy .....LOL also the chrono results for theses shots were ..768 763 763 770 766 763 772 770 771 769 thats 9 fps spread not too bad eh lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLnF_BJptXg&feature=plcp Quote Link to post

porkycrook 466
Not very good practice not to hold onto the cocking lever while you load pellet is loaded, if you have an accidental firing say goodbye to end of thunb. Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
it was a bit but it should settle down after another couple hundred shots. either that or the qualified gunsmith from brighouse has used too much greese..? id have done it myself but didnt want to mess it up hence why i trusted a gunsmith to do it.. 1 Quote Link to post

thursodog 353
Either too much gun grease or the wrong type of grease pal. I hope it settles down as it'll not help with your accuracy. If your ever up in Aberdeenshire take the hw and i'll fix it in half an hour for free. I love working on guns. CW. 1 Quote Link to post
Elliott 436
Hi Skot, I couldn't do much better pal from a sitting position, its something I need to practice with. I usually shoot from the prone position resting on my rucksack. Shooting accurately with a springer is an artform, we could all do with a lesson from pianoman! Keep at it mate and those groups will tighten up soon. Like you say it was pretty windy too so don't be too harsh on yourself! 1 Quote Link to post

Keep at it mate and those groups will tighten up soon. Like you say it was pretty windy too so don't be too harsh on yourself! in same sort of wind from same position with same pellets i used to get groups almost half that size so i will be harsh on myself.. i dont think its me.. must be the gun still not right even though ive had it 'serviced'.. more like 'over re-greased' Dude i think your rifle is still dieseling, saw a few puffs of smoke on some shots. yep it certainly is mawders just got in now from a bit of a plink.. still allover the shop and definately dieseling got 2 squirrels for my T tomoro they were both very close around 15-20yards..aiming at the middle of their heads i hit one perfect right next to the eye, but the other hit low and left of my POA and impacted into its neck/right shoulder even at 20 yards i thought it would have done better than that.. so now i dont trust it for vermin untill its properly sorted.. just glad the squirrel came straight off the fence post a quick reload and 20yard sprint and it was suffering no more Quote Link to post
