10 week old kits not eating

as above i have 10 week old kits, they have been doing fine up till yesterday they have stoped eating and become unwell looking not moveing around much. i have bred alot of ferrets and not seen them like this before. they were hyper healty well fed kits up till yesterday any advice would be welcome.

just a thought mate, if it raw food your feeding them on, is it fresh, as off meat is obviously not good for fererts ot anything? im thinking with the heat?

have they got a lot of access to water? mine were lethargic till i realised they couldnt get as much water as they needed from the bottles, i stuck a bowl of water in and they perked right up.

I would be inclined to agree with the above. If you can get hold of some try some dry soaked in water, in the hope that the change of food will get them to eat.

thanks lads i gave them extra water and the feed there on has been well soaked all the time, hopefully the extra water will help

Too hot for them ?. Try wetting them as well as offering them a drink and if your feeding raw you know too be extra careful at this time of year

i am feedig them dried meat soaked seems to do the job they have been fine up to now maybe not enough water from the bottle in the heat, gave them bowl of water as soon as i saw them like this hope this works as they drank a fair bit thanks for all replies.

Get some bowls in drinking from bottles is unnatural so kits may struggle with it
