Ferret Update

Just thought id pop a pic up of my 2 Jills at roughly 15-16 weeks old, the silver 1 had a calcium deficiency when I first got her, she has came on leaps and boinds.

 

also a couple of pics of this weeks and last weekends ferreting (Not with my two Jills as there too young)

I was looking at that first picture thinking i was out on saturday and caught a golden rabbit like that and then realised who you were . Great to see you're enjoying yourself. The ferrets are looking great mate.

Any of the rabbits i kept for myself from the above and cleaned out only one was milky. Before anyone goes on slagging about ferreting this time of year whippetlad has just taken up ferreting and the rabbits were caught on new permission were the landowners were pleading for them to be removed. So let's encourage him.

No slagging off will be done from me mate a job has too be done at the end of the day I shoot them myself but that only due too my others are Jills and don't realy like too use them when it's silly season but bringing 3 hobs on the season good job there and hope whippet enjoys the sport

Really took to it Darren. Got my camo gear and all ordered yesterday then going to get myself a finder and collar. None of ours were milky either. Can't wait to get mine out in september.

You can use my spare 8ft finder and collar until you pick one up or better still get your missus to take one of daddy vermin catchers from his store of finders and collars. It's not like he'll miss one.

I know hes almost family Darren but im not parting with any of my bleeper boxes one packed up on me on Sunday so im down to just 11spare boxes and 49 collars And did i ever tell you i have some neon orange spun poly nets Whippet lad done well out with me on Sunday as he saved Usain Bolt my fastest ferret from fooking off down a bank with a collar on towards a busy road.He is getting into this hunting lark a bit too much,i think we will need to blind fold him soon, when we are taking him to some of our hot spots.Once his own ferrets start we may find out that our hot spots are empty and he has changed his user name to maxi as he will be a plague on rabbits

Really think usain bolt should be kept on a lead, she's a tricky wee one to keep up with. The missus has been thinking I've been of working, however I've been out with the ferrets and camo gear on lol I going to start a ferreting collection, Darrens a ferret horder VC collect orange spun poly nets, I feel a bit left out lol.
