Plank 8
My brother has got mice in his house. He caught a glimpse of one the other day and rushed out and got some cheap wire and plastic 'little nipper' style traps. Ever since the mice have been robbing these traps, but without triggering them. He has seen one again since and apparently they are very small mice, but he does not know what kind. Can anyone suggest a particular trap or method suitiable for catching small, light mice? Thanks. Quote Link to post
ratattack 111
These are what he wants with peanut butter in the small cup. Never fails, have had 2 baby mice at once several times, smaller mice will struggle to spring them on their own. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOUSE-TRAPS-/200753566097?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Garden_Plants_Weed_Pest_Control_CV&hash=item2ebdd85191#ht_3453wt_952 Or these set nice and light with a small piece of toffee on the spike. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6-X-GENUINE-LITTLE-NIPPER-WOODEN-MOUSE-TRAPS-PEST-STOP-/280886708926?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Garden_Plants_Weed_Pest_Control_CV&hash=item4166270abe#ht_658wt_952 Quote Link to post

theferreter 311
had mice out the back a few weeks back because of the bird feeders so set a few traps using peanut butter caught a few but still seen some about so changed my bait to raisins they love them caught 13 in a week havent seen any in weeks nie as for catching the small ones just set the trap so the slightest wee touch on the bait sets it off and you will get the young ones no bother Edited August 14, 2012 by theferreter Quote Link to post

Millet 4,497
Just tweak the trap's so they go of everytime you try to set it..then place one piece of dry dog food under the trigger plate to stop it going off..that way they is 100% no chance of the bait getting nicked without the trap going off.. 1 Quote Link to post
