We are spoiled for choice this weekend . 3 great shows coming up.

 

 

 

4th August 12

 

Feile Camlough Dog Show , Camlough, Co Armagh will take place this Saturday 4th August. Full details on main thread. Was at this show last year, and what a day we had. This is a real family day outin a good location. Hope to see you all there.

North Sligo Agriculture Show ( The North West Working Terrier Show) takes place at Grange Co Sligo this Saturday 4th August 2012. Full Details on main thread. Good luck Gene with the show. Hope the weather keeps up this weekend. A great show with all the fun of the fair as well as the dog show.

National Country Fair and Rathbeggan Club Dog Show - 5th August 2012, at Boris House, Borris, Co Carlow.

 

*PLEASE NOTE : National Country Fair and Rathbeggan Club Dog Show, Lurcher, Terrier and Whippet events at Borris Carlow, is being held this Sunday the 5th August.* Hope to see you all there. Really looking forward to this dog show.

Getting nearer the weekend, 3 great shows on this weekend. Hope the weather keeps up. Dont forget to make your choice, and get the car, vans and trailers ready on Friday night. John brought our trailer down to the garage today and got the axel tightened up. Lads its worth checking this part of your trailer out, because the axel can come loose and break,which happened to a friend of ours coming from a show last year.It happened on a bad bend, and narrowly missed a bad accident. This is something we would not of thought of doing, but we do it now.

 

Hope to see you all somewhere at the weekend.

      Hi folks just an update on our show,
      This show is without doubt Irelands largest fundraising dog show, in only four years of bringing this show back to life, we are very proud to have raised £41000 for cancer related charities…
      This year we returned to Daisy lodge cancer fund for children, a local charity that does amazing work for kids and families affected by cancer….  We smashed last years amount of £14000 to reach an outstanding £17000….  
       
      We would like to thank every person who has supported our show, sponsorsed and donated gifts for an amazing raffle..   We had over £1500s worth of prizes for the raffle….  A very special thanks to Margaret Mcstay for advertising, The legend dog racing team of the McGrath Family, Dwtc for ongoing support, And  Burren working dog show team.. Thanks everyone and roll on 2026….   A show not to miss

      ****Great News for Our Dog Show Fraternity  in 2026 Re : 5 Nations/Mick The Miller/MasterMc Grath **** Carlow
      It has been decided by the Mc Grath Lurcher Racing Club and by kind permission of  Mr AJ Titterington of The Great Game Fairs of Ireland, that their Annual Dog Show event in Carlow 2026 will take place over a two day event. 
      *Saturday the 27th June 26 will be Showing only for the 5 Nations and All Ireland Showing.
      *Sunday 28th June will be for Racing Only for the Master Mc Grath / Mick the Miller and All Ireland Racing. 
      Please note, All dogs that have qualified for the 5 Nations/Mick The Miller and Master McGrath in 2025 will again automatically be qualified for 2026 event. If a dog that has won a show is already qualified in 1st or 2nd then the qualifier will go to 3rd place.
      This is just a heads up for now, full details and schedule will be issued at later date.
