what gets me mad, is when they put 1 strand only (6in) off the feckin floor :censored: . Now there no way that height will have any affect on a cow or sheep, as the next strand above does that.! Its (put) there to feck your dogs up( got to be) . Was out the other day and my mates patx chased a rabbit through the edge, and bang cut him in the chest,! AND THEY WONDER WHY THEY GET FENCES SMASHED DOWN

seen it my self on the big fields 2 pins and a length of wire pulled that tight it'd cut your dog in half

and thats the only reason its there, pair of snips sorts it

It costs alot of money to put fences up.Im sure that lurchers are the last thing on a farmers mind!

Theses two posts im quoting  sad! No wonder young lads with respect for the country side find it hard to get permission.

i never mentioned fences did i

any dog should be able to clear a fence

its called dog wire, read the post again

2 pins with thin wire streched between them

these are just placed about the fields

so when yor dogs on the arse of some thing

it decapitates it so read the post again before you start

slagging me off

or get out there and hope you dont be as unfortunate as

some have and come across it

i'll spell it out for you

DOG WIRE IS NOT A FENCE

Why do they put a wire at the bottom of sheepwire n 2 wires on top.what purpose does it serve.

Have you seen this yourself? Sheep wire if fitted about an inch or so off the ground so IF there was another wire 6inches high, what problem would that cause? Unless you are running a Chiwawa!
