breeze 1,381
Got a collie cross bitch here at the minute with a litter of 4 wk old pup's, who was 6 yr old March just gone. It was her 1st (and probably her last ) and she had no trouble what so ever. As long as the bitch in question is fit and healthy, can't see any problem taking a litter from her up to maybe 8 yr's old. 1 Quote Link to post
graham4877 1,181
Its when they start hitting 8 year old, you may have problems,, but if the bitch is fit and well all should be fine! just get a vet to check her over before the breeding,, i find it best to have a new pup in every 4/5 year Quote Link to post
