which over & under

Recommended Posts

I bought a baikal 627e o/u second hand years ago as my first gun and it's still going strong. There a no frills gun but make sure it's nice and tight (hasn't got a headache) as they can be tricky and expensive to repair. Also make sure the wood on the fore end is in good condition and not cracked as these are hard to source.

Other guns to consider are the Lanber sporting M/C or the Browning Medalist M/C but as above make sure there nice and tight.

If you have a generous budget then there is the Browning 425 and Beretta silver pigeon along with dozens of other guns, however i've just mentioned the ones i have owned and had experience with.

I can't fault browning for aftersales i found parts easily sourced and reasonably priced.

Hope this helps
