what way would you rear a lurcher pup? from pet to working dog?

how would you keep it? train it? feed it? what training methods would you use?

good food, good houseing,good training, good excersise,good entering = possible good dog and nearly forgot good luck

I let mine watch all the rocky and rambo film's then i take them out
