chris k 205
Now heres a good subject for thought. been tempted to get a ultra sonic cleaner from ebay for pellet cleaning. Has anyone already tryed this and if so how did it work out? I just thought that they advertise them for cleaning jewelry and so on oh and heres 1 for example http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sonic-Wave-Jewelry-Dentures-Vibra-Ultrasonic-Cleaner-/130722005681?pt=UK_Jewellery_Watches_JewelleryBoxes_Supplies_CA&hash=item1e6fa382b1 Edited July 3, 2012 by chris k Quote Link to post
AR177 588
Not used one on pellets but you can get them for cleaning fired brass for reloading ammo. Maybe worth a shot but may be too violent and deform the pellets, worth a try though ATB Adam Quote Link to post
chris k 205
thats what i thought adam. Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Not violent at all, the ultra sound is high frequency sound waves, movements of air or water at far too high a frequency for us to hear. Basically vibrates the dirt or loose material off the items being cleaned. Quote Link to post
8shot 192
ive got one of these for my metal detecting finds... ill put a few pellets in and give it a go 1 Quote Link to post
rabbit router 1
hmmmm not thought of that ive got one so will give a try will let you know Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
I've put a tin through mine that I use for reloading the .243. Even though they seemed very clean before I put them in, there was plenty of lead in the water after they were done. Not noticed any difference in accuracy with them, but they're definitely pretty clean. Quote Link to post
rabbit router 1
well ive just finished putting a full tin of RWS superdomes .22 through my ultrasound bath and what a difference it has made, there seems to be more gunk in the bottom of the tank than there is when doing it manually if this improves the accuracy further i know what im going to use from now on lol atb rabbit trouter 1 Quote Link to post
