Carraghs Gem 1,699
Just got a phonecall their from the guy at eaglesflying.com up in sligo were the kestrel is He survived the night, he says the bird was quite weak and very undernourished when it arrived but has eaten 3 chicks since yesterday and has perked up a lot, unfortunately he discovered when examining it today that the tip of its wing is dislocated, probably the reason the guy in the pub was able to catch it. He was also able to tell me the kestrel is a juvenile male about 6-8wks old but because of the wing injury its unlikely that he will ever be able to return to the wild 1 Quote Link to post
