any of you lads ever used concrete floor paint on your dog runs floor and if so, does the dog piss make it go flakey and start to peel any sugestions welcome. thanks

The piss from bitch's makes it go flakey i found and it dont last better with just a nice concrete finish and a sealer on it to stop it penetrating or tile the floor

I got ready mix concrete from a local quarry, i told them what i wanted it for and they recommended a mix they do for livestock sheds which has a plastisiser in. Cost about £20 more. Well pleased with it, as the piss just runs off. No need to seal it with anything.

Mine hasent lifted at all but i did put around 5 coats on, it helps if you throw a few shaveings on the floor too, buster.

i use it on my pens and cant fault it one bit very happy with it. i would recomend it to anyone. the only thing i would say is dont buy cheap.

you can get an additive that you float in to the surface. its a hardener and seals the concrete its very good gear quartz based . there are numerous types we use it for parlar floors you throw it on the surface as it is starts to go then float in . do it a couple of times. cant remember the name . one of you pc. whizz kids should be able to find it. if not i'll come back to you on it

i use powder dye the one thay use for makeing pat slabs then a good sealer the dye is about 3 pound a tub will go a long way
