New kennels

Recommended Posts

The work on the run has been on the 'backburner' for a while, while I was getting inside of the house done.

Well today I did the roof.

My mate built it, I did the woodwork roof and mesh. I got the mesh for, free, and it needs a spray to tidy it up.

I havent been keeping a track of how much its cost, but id say around £600

Just need some 'fascia' boards on to tidy up the front and sides

Robin hood, yes theres drains... & electric.... & runnin water :D

Gafer, ill be insulating the bed 'cubicle' so itl be warm enough, as theyl only be in through the day when im at work. I let them sit in living room with a woodburner, till I go bed, then there in the utility room ;)

Ideal, I have started one myself got the base finished at last. Got all the materials to continue and all it has done is f@cking rain since! Does my swede in!!!

A lot of hard work has gone into it so far, foundation's, large soakaway, a course of blocks all round to bring it up to level as the ground was so far out, drains in for the Kennel on one side, sink/wash out area/game prep, then shed nearest the chicken run. Its gonna be a labour of love, but, will be great when it is done, then I can get me new pup!

Sounds good snifferboy. I was lucky in the fact I didnt need to dig footings.. Mine is built straight onto a large concrete pad that was aleady there...

So with the wall that seperates bed/run and a pillar built in, then its as strong as it needs to be ;)
