bigmac 97kt 13,836 Posted June 17, 2012 Report Share Posted June 17, 2012 hi lads, well we went out to night got to our permision at about 9.10 and had my first kill at about 9.20 got out of the car as me and my mate saw three rabbits in the first field crept up along the fence two had dun a runner but one was still there i stood up lent on a fence post put the cross hair on it,s head at about 40 yard,s but the rabbit started to run but it turned and ran towards me then stopped so i took aim at about 35 yards and fired one down nice head shot one shot one kill we went for a walk around to gether then we split as we normally do then 10 min,s later two more a big one and a smaller one, close to gether to close to get the big one so went for the other one as the angle of the shot ment i could not get a cleen kill on the big one so i took aim fired another head shot one shot one kill my mate vivlauk (sean) had his patterdale pup with him just trying to get it used to the land and the live stock by the way it a cracking pup and is allmost there with the training when you shoot some thing it go,s and sits next to it just need him to fetch it back to you then where sorted need less to say sean did not have a very good night as trying to hold a dog and shoot is not very good and thats not like sean he,s the one that gets most of the kill,s most of the time and as for the tx200 i think my 97kt may have a extended holiday after all( well we will see) im more than imprest with the tx and the scope,s are top class sorry about the photos as i took them with my phone and the light on it is ******d atb mac ps. sorry about my spelling school was not my strong point Quote Link to post

Right again I think !! A blank for me tonight, but not to worry, the dog had a good time & you enjoyed yourself, Im up for the night now, my shoulder is playing up, so I think I may put my s410 up for sale !! So much more fun! we,v been mate,s for a long time bud and we allways go shooting to gether it,s a safety thing as well if some thing was to happen to one of us the other one is there to help and iv proven this in the past when i shot my self (and i no iv had all the mick taken out of me about this )atb mac Quote Link to post
