furgle 14 Posted June 14, 2012 Report Share Posted June 14, 2012 Well Ive always used my mentors kit as I normally fly with him all the time but im going to join my local club and plan on going to the field meets so I needed my own telemetry I was surprised to find this for a VERY good price of £200 including the transmitter so I just had to have it and at least now I have no worries of borrowing kit lol its on 216 and ive already been out practising with me brother like big kids playing hide and seek lol and it works a treat where we tried it was pretty varied ground with steep hills and chest high brambles and no problems what so ever finding the transmitter/brother Eres a picture I put the date on a piece of paper to prove its not off google lol Thanks for looking 1 Quote Link to post

Very easy to use however get plenty of practice in with it, get friends/family to hide the transmitter in all sorts of places so you get used to the different levels of signal you get with it.. Another thing to used to with it is triangulation for searching over a longer distance rather than just pointing and following. I moved up to the 5000 channel version and other than some major issues due to it being stolen by the seller I couldn't have been happier with the system. Alex Yeah mate dont worry ive been out with me brother on a few different types of ground have a good practice and I dont think im going to have any problems with it. Im going to get a different transmitter something a bit more powefull maybe marshal RT plus and a micro for the other channel thanks for the advice though mate Quote Link to post
